Schedule for fall

Below you'll find key dates for the fresher fall of 2026. In addition, you'll find information about future events in TKO-äly's TKO-älyn event calendar. The university guide for the orientation week can be found here.

In addition to the events below, we will organize events for all of our members, unofficial gatherings and events for your own tutor group.

We might have to change these dates and schedule. Follow our announcements on the fresher channel (invitation link was part of fresherletter), keep an eye on the event calendar and this page as we get closer to orientation week. The events that are organized mostly for the freshers are not added to the event calendar.

August
Sat Aug 22		Fresher year's head start The yearly held head start for freshers in Suomenlinna: Come mingle and hang out with your fellow freshers! TKO-äly holds a communal head off from Kauppatori's eastern side at 15 o'clock (check the up to date information from event calendar) TKO-äly offers event attendees a bit of snacks and drinks. If you wish to, feel free to take some of your own drinks and snacks on top of those. We'll head of to Suomenlinna by ferry, and you'll need a HSL-ticket that's viable in the A-zone.

	Tue Aug 25	Orienting Day II Computer Science's Bachelor's degree's orienting event at 12-14, Exactum A111
		Park olympics' from 16 onwards at Arabianranta Tutors hold the checkpoints and fresher groups compete against each other. Joukkueiden ilmoittautuminen aukeaa klo 16:00 Arabianrannassa Rastit aukeavat klo 16:30
	Wed Aug 26	Campus Tour held by your tutors at a time told by them
		Sisu workshop at 12:00-16:00, in Exactum B221 "yläpaja" and BK107 "alapaja" tutors help out with Sisu
		Freshersauna at 17.00 Let's Sauna! from 17 o'clock at Bölen sauna, Fredriksberginkatu 2, Helsinki Sauna turns start at 18 o'clock Bring along a swimsuit and a towel!
	Thu Aug 27	Orienting Day IV Tietokone työvälineenä luento klo 10-12 Linux/laptop workshop for those who wish to attend at 13-15, Physicum D204
		Student organization market at 12-15 Take this chance to get to know Kumpula's student organizations and buy overall patches at Physicum's lobby.
		Park Hangout at 17.00 Let's hang out and grill at Kumtähden kentällä for the evening with mathematics student organization Matrix.
	Fri Aug 28	Orienting Day V Information about other study fields, Limes ry, at 12.00–14.00, Exactum A111
		KJYFS at 17.00 All of Kumpula's Fresher Festival. Party!!!! The event's held near the campus at Kolmiopuisto The event area has kumpula's student and hobby organisation's points. It's recommended to bring along a picnic blanket, your own food/drinks and warm clothing. You can buy overall patches from TKO-äly's checkpoint.

		Lisätukea Sisu-järjestelmän käyttöön klo 14–15, Exactum B123 Koulutusasiantuntijat antavat lisäapua Sisun kanssa, erityisesti mikäli sinulla on aiempia opintoja hyväksiluettavana.
Wed Sep 9		TKO-älyn fuksisitsit Malmin työväentalolla Tutustutaan sitsikulttuuriin! Cocktail-tilaisuus klo 17.30 ja pöytiin siirtyminen klo 18.00. Ilmoittautuminen alkaa 26.8. klo 16.00 ja päättyy 5.9. klo 18.00
Sat Sep 12		TKO-älyn fuksisuunnistus Tule suunnistamaan ja kisaamaan hauskoilla rasteilla ja viettämään huippupäivä uusien kavereiden kanssa! Tämä on myös ensimmäinen kerta kun haalareita saa käyttää joten tätä ei kannata missata!
