Käpistelijäin rakennukseen löytää Reittioppaassa hakusanalla Exactum – Google tunnistaa jopa nimen Gurula oikean paikan löytämiseksi. Bussit 56 ja 506 tulevat ylös Kumpulan mäkeä ja pysähtyvät pysäkillä A. I. Virtasen aukio. Muut kampuksen lähelle vievät bussit ja raitiovaunut pysähtyvät Kumtähden kentän vieressä pysäkeillä Kumpulan kampus.
