Tältä sivulta löydät kuvaukset vuoden 2023 tuutoreista ja fuksi- ja tuutorivastaavista.

Siinä missä tuutori vastaa uusien opiskelijoiden perehdyttämisestä opiskelun arkeen, fuksi- ja tuutorivastaavat pitävät huolta tiedonkulusta ja fuksitapahtumien järjestämisestä. Lisäksi vastaavat ratkaisevat sellaisia vastaan tulevia ongelmia, joihin tuutori ei esimerkiksi ole osannut vastata. Tuutorivastaavat ovat yhteydessä tuutorien lisäksi myös osaston suuntaan. Ota ihmeessä yhteyttä, jos jokin asia arveluttaa!

A tutor takes care of introducing the new students to student life and the fresher and tutor coordinators keep everyone informed and organise fresher events. In addition, the coordinators solve problems in situations where the tutor cannot help, for example. The tutor coordinators also stay in touch with the faculty. Meidän tehtävä fuksi- ja tuutorivastaavina on tehdä orientaatioviikosta fukseille ja tuutoreille mukava kokemus, joka auttaa orientoitumaan tulevaan opiskelija-arkeen ja tutustumaan kanssaopiskelijoihin. Ollaan täällä teitä varten, joten ethän epäröi ottaa yhteyttä, jos sinulla on toivomuksia, terveisiä, kysymyksiä tai palautetta! Itse aloitin käpistelyopinnot vuonna 2020 ja olen tykännyt opiskelijaelämästä tosi paljon! Olen puuhaillut kaikenlaista ainejärjestömme eteen, ja minut löytää usein opiskelijatiloistamme Gurulasta ja klusterilta. Vapaa-ajalla luen (olin joskus humanisti, old habits die hard) ja boulderoin (kukapa ei). (Oikeastihan siis jumitun loputtomiin youtube-maratoneihin tai pelaan Mario Kartia Gurulassa.) Syksyllä nähdään! in English (på Engelska) Hiya, fresher! First and foremost: orientation week, what a time to be alive. Our job as fresher and tutor coordinators is to make orientation week a pleasant experience that helps you orient yourself to life as a student and helps you meet your fellow students. We are here for you, so please don't hesitate to contact us if you have wishes, greetings, questions or feedback! I myself started studying CS in 2020 and I've loved student life! I've done all kinds of things for our subject organisation, and you can often find me at our student hangouts Gurula and klusteri. In my free time I read (I used to study literature, old habits die hard) and go bouldering (who doesn't). (In reality, I lose myself in endless Youtube marathons or play Mario Kart in Gurula.) I'll see you in the autumn!

Muistan, kuinka jännittävää opintojen aloitus oli, mutta niin vaan meikäläinenkin omien tuutoreiden avulla tänne tekikseen kotiutui. Jos sinulla herää kysymyksiä tai palautetta, älä epäröi nykästä hihasta! Fuksivuoteni oli täynnä unohtumattomia kokemuksia sekä uusia ystäviä ja niistä erityisesti fuksisuunnistus ja KJYR ovat jääneet mieleeni ja niistä löytyy paljon tarinoita kerrottavaksi! Toivottavasti sinullakin on hauskaa erilaisissa opiskelijatapahtumissa, joita tulemme järjestämään. Aloitin itse opiskelut 2020 ja tällä hetkellä vaikutan hallituksessa, bilevastaavana sekä fuksi- & tuutorivastaavana. Vapaa-ajallani tykkään pelata pleikkaria, soitella pianoa ja tietenkin juhlia. I remember how exciting it was to start my studies, but with the help of my own tutors, I managed to settle in here. If you have any questions or feedback, don't hesitate to reach out to me! My freshman year was full of unforgettable experiences and new friends, especially the orientation week and the student union activities. There are many stories to be told! I hope you have fun at the various student events that we'll be organizing. I started my studies in 2020 and currently I'm involved in the subject organisation as a member of the board, responsible for party coordinator, and as a tutor coordinator. Moikka ja tervetuloa TKO-äly:n tai tutummin Tekiksen hellään syleilyyn! Oon toisen vuoden opiskelija ja Tekiksen kautta pääsin viettämään ihan huikeen fuksivuoden! Oon parhaillaan Tekiksen hallituksessa ja häirintäyhdyshenkilönä eli jos tulee sen puoleen kysyttävää tai mitään muutakaan opiskeluelämään liittyvää niin mut saa helposti kiinni Telegramista, joka kannattaa muutenkin ottaa käyttöön, sillä sieltä tulee käytännössä kaikki oleellinen TKO-äly:n viestintä! Näin tuutoroinnin lisäks (josta oon tosi innoissani!!!) vietän ison osan ajastani järjestöhommissa. Mut löytääki usein Tekiksen eri tapahtumista ja muista vastaavista opikseluelämän menoista. Suosittelen todella vahvasti! Niissä tutustuu musta parhaiten muihin fukseihin ja aktiiveihin. Gurulasta voi mut myös löytää ja hihasta vetämällä mua (tai muita hallituslaisia) saa ostettua Tekiksen merchiä tai muita tuotteita!

Hellou tuore käpistelijä! Olen neljännen vuoden opiskelija, teen opintoja vähän omaan tahtiin nakkien ja muun oheistoiminnan parissa. Harrastuksina osallistun uusien opiskelija asuntojen rakennuttamiseen ja startup-piireissä pyörimiseen. Minut löytää pitkin viikkoa enimmäkseen eri osakunnilta saunomasta, mutta voit nähdä mut myös Klusterilla tai Tekiksen Unisport-vakiovuorolta. Museot ja selväpäiset tapahtumat on myös mun juttu. Näkyillään!

The student life is very active here and many events are happening, so I think that you will love your time here! I started my Master’s studies in fall 2022 at the University of Helsinki and before that I finished my Bachelor’s in my home country Germany. In my free time I like to read, go for walks in Finnish nature and do organizational work for our subject organization. On campus you will find me quite often in our student room Gurula where I play Mario Kart every once in a while. On weekend nights I like to hang out with my friends at Klusteri, the club room for student organizations from our campus. I did an exchange semester here in Fall 2021 and started my master’s degree in data science in Fall 2022. I was lucky to attend orientation week as a fresher twice and now, I am so excited for experiencing it as a tutor and hope you have as much fun as I had! In my free time, I go out to eat, play board games or go to klusteri (Matlu’s club room) until I don’t have free time anymore 😁 My favorite events during my fresher year were fresher’s adventures (orienteering) and fresher sitsit – make sure to attend for an unforgettable experience! And yeah, dogs are the absolute best!

I am currently studying my elective courses by completing an exchange semester at Nagoya University and will return five days before the orientation starts, so we can all be happily jet lagged together :'). Since I started my masters in spring '23, I will join for the mandatory first-year courses, so you will definitely not miss me. In my free time I love to grow plants, cook good food (learning the Japanese style...), read lots of books and do lots of sports: in the fall I am planning to join a beginner triathlon group just for fun. I am planning to take a slightly easier study load so I can spend my days just bikin' around town and first and foremost do lots of fun things with you all! My plan is to be the Finland-ambassador: I really love all the Finnish things, berry and mushroom picking, skiing, going to a cottage, traveling anywhere in Finland, seeing natural parks, sledding, sauna, winter swimming, ice skating, ice fishing, you name it and I'm in! I hope you have lots of energy to see and explore, because it there won't be a boring day with me around!
