The Master of song maintains the singing culture of TKO-äly in sitsit and elsewhere. If necessary, they prepare a song booklet for the sitsit and is there to lead the singing or makes sure that there's someone who can lead the song if needed. The task of the Master of Song at the sitsit is to make sure that the sitsit stay in schedule and that the mood doesn't get too rowdy. In TKO-äly sitsit, the Master of Song has traditionally opened the sitsit, presented the first songs at the start of the sitsit and when returning from breaks. Otherwise, people at the sitsit are free to chatter and give speeches. The Master of Song works closely with both the table party team and the annual ball team.
