Used computers
Before fall of 2025 university offered to lend fresher's laptop for new comers for years. Luckily there is still some desktops left in computer classrooms and also Laptop Lender is expanding to every campus. Still common computers are limited in quantity and it's good idea to have own. Now as computers can be quite expensive for students we try to list here ways to buy used one.
U6-verstaat
U6-verstaat is selling PC-devices refurbished by the city. Prices are mild, but there is only few models available.
PC-Shop is a small stall located inside U6-Tori. U6-Tori is kind of reuse market hall with furniture, handcraft and bicycle stalls. It can be found in the middle of tunnel next to Kyläsaari kierrätyskeskus (reuse center).
There are desktops, laptops, input devices, displays, printers, cables and so on on sale. Everyting else than computers itself goes on price range around 5-20€.
