Hi!

Welcome, and congratulations on getting into an excellent bachelor's programme. I'm a fourth-year student in Computer Science, or as it is more informally known~~, "käpistely"~~. I'm starting my master's studies in Data Science this autumn, and I also previously completed a bachelor's degree in Economics, so I'm starting to have maybe a bit too much experience with university studies. I often hang around campus between Gurula, Unicafe, and Unisport (and sometimes I even go to lectures).

I started studying computer science without knowing much about it beforehand, but I've been really happy with my choice. The subjects are interesting and there is an active student community. I definitely recommend participating in events at the start of your studies and getting to know people. Tko-äly organizes a wide variety of activities, and on top of that there are lots of events from other student organizations. You can always come talk to me or send me a message if you have any questions.
