In Kumpula

  • Exactum = your new home. Exactum hosts mathematicians, data scientists, statistics students and seismologists in addition to computer scientists. Also has a Unicafe (a university restaurant)
  • Physicum = the building next to Exactum hosting physicists, geography students and geologists. You can access the library through Physicum and the Unicafe in Physicum serves sandwiches and panini
  • Chemicum = Chemicum hosts chemists (what a surprise). They have the biggest Unicafe in Kumpula with better opening hours
  • Integraalipolku = A steep path that takes you from Exactum to the bus and tram stops called Kumpulan kampus. Use at your own risk.
  • Kartano = the Kumpula manor on Jyrängöntie, in the botanical garden area
  • A.I. Virtasen aukio = The square in front of Chemicum. There is a barbecue there on Vappu.
  • VAK = Väinö Auerin katu, especially the HOAS buildings near Kumpula campus
  • PKK = Pietari Kalmin katu, especially the HOAS building

  • Gurula = the computer science students' student room on Exactum's basement floor (room DK115)
  • Navetta = computer lab attached to Gurula (DK110)
  • Haxxo = 24h group study lab next to Navetta (DK108)
  • Luola = 24h computer lab at the end of the corridor, next to Haxxo (DK107)
  • Komero = the mathematicians' student room on the 3rd floor of Exactum (C338)
  • Limeksen Toimisto = The student room of the interdisciplinary student organization Limes ry. It is located on the first floor of Exactum, when you go up the stairs from Gurula, a little to the right and then forward. The office is the first room in the hallway on the right. (C132)
  • Hideout = the student room of Integralis, the student organization for all international students at Kumpula campus and the main student organisation for the Bachelor's Programme in Science students. Found on the same corridor as Limes’ Toimisto, the second room on the right.
  • Kafferummet = Spektrum rfs, The Swedish-speaking student association student room at matlu. The room is located at the far back on the right in the same corridor as the Limes Office.
