Terve Fuksit!

Hi Freshers!
Hi Freshers!

<!--T:110-->
I’m Abdul Halim. I’m a second-year Master’s student in Computer Science at the University of Helsinki. I came to Finland in 2025 to start my Master’s. Before coming to Finland, I worked as a Software Engineer for 5+ years. I’m still learning new things and exploring new technologies. Alongside my studies, I’m also trying to build my own products and become an entrepreneur.

Olen työskennellyt ohjelmistoalalla kahden vuoden ajan ennen maisteriopintojeni aloittamista täällä. Jos sinulla on siis kysyttävää teknologia-alasta, urapoluista tai vaikkapa opiskelijaelämään sopeutumisesta Helsingissä, ota rohkeasti yhteyttä.

Outside university, a huge part of my life is music 🎹. I’m a keyboardist/pianist and you’ll often find me playing gigs, going to jam sessions, or checking out live music around Helsinki. If you’re a musician yourself, want to find places to jam, or simply enjoy live music, definitely come say hi!
<!--T:116-->
I also enjoy exploring Helsinki, meeting new people, and discovering new places around Finland.
Looking forward to meeting you all during orientation week. Hope you have an amazing start to your time at UH!
