Hi, and congratulations on getting your place of study! I’m Kassu, a third-year student. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games and working out at the gym. I also play football.
I warmly recommend joining the various events with an open mind (board-game nights, pub crawls, etc.). They’re a great way to meet new people. I came into the programme through the Open University route myself, so if you’re unsure about picking courses for the autumn and have already completed some, just drop me a message. I’ll be happy to help. See you in the autumn!

Hi Freshers!
I’m Abdul Halim. I’m a second-year Master’s student in Computer Science at the University of Helsinki. I came to Finland in 2025 to start my Master’s. Before coming to Finland, I worked as a Software Engineer for 5+ years. I’m still learning new things and exploring new technologies. Alongside my studies, I’m also trying to build my own products and become an entrepreneur.
I love nature, travelling to natural places, exploring new places, and fishing. Simply, I enjoy spending time in nature and going on adventures.
If you have any questions or just want to connect, feel free to reach out to me on Telegram or by email.
